The Duggars are pregnant again!

They just announced on the Today Show Michelle is 3 1/2 months pregnant with baby #20.
One of the questions they were asked was how can you afford so many kids, and I loved how the answered. They said they made a commitment to never go into debt, buy used and save the difference, and the government should learn from that, LOL.

Sooo true!

I get asked so often how we can afford to feed all these kiddos, and I tell them its all about choices. Do we choose to blow all our money on frivolous things, or do we plan ahead. I am a planner. No matter whats going on in life, I always have a plan B. With kids, no matter how many you have, you have to have a back up plan. My kids don't have the latest and greatest new electronics, but what they do have they truly appreciate. They don't all have their own bedrooms and fancy clothes, but they have each other. They learn the fine art of give and take on a daily basis. And to me, that's priceless.

Shopping!!

Ya'll ever been shopping with 8 kids? I highly recommend it. Gives the people who shop there someone to laugh at, err I mean it makes people around you happy. Or mad. Really mad sometimes depending on their levels of tolerance.

You may notice I am missing 2 in the picture. That's because they are hiding in the electronic selection of Sam's Club.

When I go shopping with only 3 or 4 kids I usually push a cart and pull one behind me. But when the older kids come with me I get some help with carts and can actually get 3 carts full of groceries. It's nice when that happens because then I don't have to go back for 2 weeks, unless my 6 gallons of milk get used up too soon.

It'd be a lot easier if we just bought a cow but with my luck it'd have a nervous breakdown.........

1st snowfall of the year!

This is what I woke up to this morning

Chason couldn't wait to go outside, and I had to drag him off of the trampoline. Guess we waited a little too long to take it down and put away all the outside toys. So, I know what we'll be doing tomorrow.

We have been seeing this van around town lately, and finally got a picture of it. Talk about a back woods R.V. for people with a bunch of kiddos!! Scott loves it of course, LOL

And what's scary is I could totally see Scott doing this when we finally buy our van!!
