It has begun

Alright, today we started the girls room in the basement. They are very excited about it, and can not wait until its finished. Our awesome neighbor Joe came over and started framing it while Scott helped him. Can I just say how thankful we are to have our neighbors? Not only did he frame up Colbys room last year, but he is the first one there to lend a hand when we need him.
I would love to get this room done by April. The girls will have the biggest bedroom in the whole house, plus their own bathroom. They are also getting their own closets, so it should stop a lot of fights before they start, at least I hope so. Shelby is constantly talking about what colors go good together for her walls, and what type of carpet she wants, lol. Haylee couldn't care less. She is just happy to get a nice new big bedroom, lol. Its funny how my only 2 girls who are so close in age, couln't be more different. And really, that is as it should be.

A 3 year old named Chason

So tonight Chason was asking me his millionth question of the day, and noticed a scrape on my leg. I told him its my owie, and I just knew he'd have to check it out.....So, he stared at it and told me not to worry because he could fix it. I said, oh you can, how nice, then waited for my kiss to make it better. He said ok mommy, I go get my hammer! A hammer? eeeeeek lol

He is such an awesome kid. So easy going, ready to make ya laugh, and has the biggest smile. His whole face lights up. He is not one to sit back and watch. Gotta be a part of the team, so he fits in really well.

Sleep..........

Sleep is a good thing. Its a precious thing. It's something I hope to have again in my life. But right now there are babies to be rocked, dishes to be washed, and kids to be loved up. Sometimes my kids just want reassurance. Yes, you are normal. No, you can't ride your bike with your cat. And, yes, you are one of the best things I have ever had.

Welcome to my world!

My day usually begins with Travis jumping in his crib telling me in his own way that he's ready to wake up. Its hard to put into words how much I love him. When you have a baby your whole world shifts. Course mine has shifted several times, 7 to be exact, and I can still remember the way each and everyone of my kids looked at me in the hospital. The smell of their hair, the way they grasped my finger, and such an overwelming love coming from my heart......................
